Archie joined IQ Capital in 2019. He was previously a researcher a data science consultancy CognitionX and before that a Venture Developer at Rocket Internet, working with the COO of fast-growing travel marketplace in Southeast Asia in the run up to acquisition.
Archie focuses on early-stage companies commercialising novel physics, computer science, and machine learning technologies. He has worked with over a dozen companies and sits on board of Synthesized, Valarian, Cybersmart, Secretarium, Mindgard, and RevEng.ai. Archie is a mentor for the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) For Startups accelerator programme.
Archie read Physics and Philosophy at the University of Bristol where his studies focused on Quantum Mechanics and its varying interpretations. He also co-founded ODO, an events business running music nights for up to 2,500 people.
