Ryan is Head of Portfolio at IQ Capital, where he leads the firm’s portfolio strategy and corporate finance function, shaping how IQ Capital supports and scales its deeptech investments, and guides planning for future exit pathways. He works closely with selected companies across the portfolio, providing targeted, high-impact support on growth, governance, and value creation, while overseeing investment execution, portfolio risk management, and long-term planning.

Alongside his broader responsibilities, Ryan has recently been working closely with Focal Point, Closed Loop Medicine, Funderbeam, and Those Beyond.

Before joining IQ Capital, Ryan co-founded Helicammedia, a drone photography company that delivered projects for tier-one clients including the BBC, Adidas, and Foster & Partners.

He is also an active member of the Enterprise Investment Scheme Association (EISA).
