Simon is General Partner and COO of IQ Capital, with overall responsibility for operations and a central role in shaping and executing long-term strategy. Simon leads the development and growth of our expanding team, oversees investor relations, and provides direct support to our investments in portfolio companies.

Simon is proud to be part of IQ Capital’s vibrant team and to contribute to our growing success as a leader in European deep tech.

Simon has over 30 years of management and financial experience. Prior to IQ Capital, he was General Partner and COO at Kreos Capital, the pioneer European growth debt provider which grew to over £1bn of assets under management, with over €2.5bn in some 600 investments in 16 countries, which was recently acquired by BlackRock.

Previously he was group CFO of the PA Group, a $500m global consulting and technology business with strong focus on commercialising tech spin-offs. Before PA, Simon worked in professional services, including Arthur Andersen in London and Frankfurt.

Simon serves as a member of the Cambridge Judge Business School advisory board.
